Publisher Description
From the ashes of heartbreak rises the Symphony of Us.
USA Today bestselling author Claudia Burgoa brings us The Symphony of us, the compelling conclusion to the Requiem for Love duet. A poignant exploration of a second chance at love, Why Choose? Relationships are as exhilarating and everlasting as a melody of the past.
Love is like a drug: dangerously intoxicating and addictively powerful.
As a recovering addict, I know this too well.
But how can I do it when Sanford and Aerin, my first loves—my unforgettable heartbreak—are back?
Not only are they back, but Sanford insists Aerin needs us.
He wants us to help her as we melt the shattered fragments of our hearts and become one—three hearts, one love.
I should resist them.
I understand the dangerous allure they—and love—have over me.
I can’t risk falling back into old habits, having them become my everything once again.
My love for them was my downfall, and the aftermath nearly destroyed me.
But she needs us.
And the symphony of us has begun to play its second movement.
Will it be a requiem of our past or a triumphant anthem of love rediscovered and bonds reaffirmed?
The Symphony of Us is an unforgettable journey of emotional self-discovery, healing, and the resounding power of love. This is the conclusion to the Requiem for Love duet, a finale that promises an ending that resonates with the melody of true love.

Emotional conclusion
Where book one of this duet was about the history and tragedy of this triad, The Symphony of Us is about the hopeful reforming and healing of Aerin, Sanford and Greyson. After the revelations revealed in the factionalized biography, this story is more about finding their way back together, if that’s even possible.
While Aerin and Grey are the two who went through the most physical trauma, I feel like Sanford at times is portrayed as the lucky one and hence doesn’t need as much support and comfort. It didn’t help that he’s absent more than the others from this story and the steps he is taking to keep Aerin, and by association, Grey safe, haven’t been explored as much as I would have liked. Maybe because he’s my favorite? I wanted more of the triad as well.
While less angsty than some of her books, Claudia Burgoa infuses lots of emotion in both this book and the duet as a whole. It’s exactly what I expect when I pick up one of her books and why I keep coming back for more. Can’t wait to see what’s next!
So good
The second part of this duet was so amazing. The only time I put it down was to get past some tears. This story was emotional but also so hopeful. The Decker family and Too Far from Grace crew are some of my favorite characters ever. I can’t wait for what comes next.
Wasn’t sure they could be put back together
One thing you must know about Claudia Burgoa books is that they are filled with love no matter how broken her characters are. I truly could not put down this 2 book duet. I had to wait until the second one was out to begin reading as I know the first book would destroy the reader. Thank you to this 5 star author for providing such wonderful entertainment. The writing is exceptional.
