Councilor Jeran Chenzira prayed that their delegation would find a friendly sentient species on the distant world they approached, but they arrived only moments before an asteroid hit. Their diplomatic mission turned into a desperate attempt to try to save even a few of the endangered species of that now uninhabitable world. Can his partner, Senior Healer Myra Chenzira figure out a way to safely repopulate those species, find a way to cure their injuries and illnesses before they infect his own people, and figure out why all of their attempts at communication have failed before they go extinct? For that matter, did they even rescue a sentient species or has he doomed his own species to extinction by rescuing nothing more than a diseased animal?
