Edgar Allan Poe's classic and most read psychological thriller "The Tell-Tale Heart", now with full audio integration enabling readers to read and listen along. Published in 1843, "The Tell-Tale Heart" follows an unidentified narrator and his transformation in becoming a madman by committing the most heinous of crimes.
Excerpt: " Yes he was stone, stone dead. I place my hand upon the heart and held there many minutes. There was no pulsation. He was stone dead…That night waned, and I worked hastily. First of all I dismembered the corpse. I cut off the head and the arms and legs. "
The tell take heart
This is a great book!
This book is really good although the audio did skip one section. Edgar Allen Poe is one of my favorite authors and there is no doubt in my mind that all his novels and short stories are classics. I have recently been studying Poe in reading class and his stories have fascinated me.
I recommend this book,Poe is a genius I love this story as a kid I still do
