Long winded
I liked her characters in Claire and Ramsey. I felt though that Annabel was just words on a page. There was no deep attachment to Claire or the reader. The story was often drawn out, when less words would have worked. A nice read for the most part.
Um
I have read "My man Pendelton" , "Trapping a Tycoon" ,and "my man Friday" by this author and loved them. This book was soooooo drawn out and wordy that I found myself skipping over entire pages just to get to where characters were speaking to each other. I guess all authors have flops and I would have to say this was definitely a flop
