Seattle PI, Hazard Smith, has fallen on hard times. Business is dry as a bone and his secretary left because she hasn't been paid in weeks. Just when he thinks things couldn't get any worse, a dame walks into his office. She turns out to be the fifteen year old daughter he never knew he had. Marty has come to Seattle to follow in her father's footsteps. She wants him to train her in the family business. Hazard refuses, not wanting his flesh in blood to risk the dangers and disappointments of being a private dick. Everything changes when her stepfather turns up murdered in the Seattle Hilton. Hazard agrees to let her help look for his killer. When kidnapping is added to the mix, the pair team up with a sexy FBI agent to find the killer before Marty becomes the next victim.
