Internationally bestselling author Paullina Simons returns with a sweeping new saga guaranteed to make you laugh, cry, and fall in love.
All the colors of your world are about to disappear…
Young and handsome, Julian lives a charmed life in Los Angeles. His world is turned upside down by a love affair with Josephine, a mysterious young woman who takes him by storm. But she is not what she seems, carrying secrets that tear them apart—perhaps forever.
So begins Julian and Josephine’s extraordinary adventure of love, loss, and the mystical forces that bind people together across time and space. It is a journey that propels Julian toward either love fulfilled…or oblivion.
The Tiger Catcher takes readers from the dizzying heights of joy to the depths of despair and back again in an unforgettable new novel from a master storyteller.
Simons opens the End of Forever trilogy with a quirky story of soulmates drawn together through time. Los Angeles blogger "Mr. Know It All," aka Julian Cruz, cannot understand how he could so quickly fall in love with impetuous, enigmatic actor Josephine Collins and then be expected to cope with her sudden death. As he spirals out of control and becomes increasingly desperate to somehow reunite with Josephine, Julian meets Devi, a Hmong chef and possible shaman, in a tiny eatery in London. Devi recognizes in Julian an ability to overcome the boundaries of time and space, but Julian must wrestle with the idea of leaving friends and family to take the leap into the past in search of Josephine. While set mostly in contemporary L.A. and London, Simons expertly builds a world where readers will believe that Julian might be able to change his future by seeking his soulmate in the past. Josephine's soul is both young and old, and it's enjoyable to watch her evolve, though Julian is by far the most richly drawn character. Readers will root for this unlikely time traveler to find his future.
The Tiger Catcher
Very disappointing! Such a wonderful author, I’m surprised at this books content. Written so many terrific books and this i certainly don’t consider even close to the talent shown in previous books. Wish I had my $11.99 back. Wasted my money for sure!! I won’t read anything else in this series but wish for more great writing, like The Girl in Times Square, also the Alexander and Tatiana series or Bronze Horsemen series. I guess they are the same.Loved them SO much.
