Publisher Description

In the highly anticipated finale to the New York Times bestselling trilogy, dictators, prophets, and tensions rise. In a world that’s conquered death, will humanity finally be torn asunder by the immortal beings it created?

Citra and Rowan have disappeared. Endura is gone. It seems like nothing stands between Scythe Goddard and absolute dominion over the world scythedom. With the silence of the Thunderhead and the reverberations of the Great Resonance still shaking the earth to its core, the question remains: Is there anyone left who can stop him?

The answer lies in the Tone, the Toll, and the Thunder.

A super fan! ,

🥺( SPOILERS)

I cried at the end especially when Rowan made the decision to stay alive for 117 years and then turn a corner. I really wanted him to stay in the cold with Citra.. but that didn’t happen. I definitely cried at the end when Citra said “When was that” and Rowan said “Only a moment ago” .On the upside I was glad Rand put Tyger back together and finally got rid of Goddard. I was also pleased with the joke “Only idiots build walls” 😂. Overall it was an emotionally book. I’m still recovering from the pain and saddens me to think that I will never read from Citra or Rowans p.o.v again.

Unique and Captivating

A truly wonderful end with unpredictable turns throughout. I’ve loved this trilogy throughout, and Shusterman ends it eloquently. Thank you for this story!

11/10

I saw other reviews complaining about gender fluidity being added to the third book, and i think that it made it a whole lot better. very different than what i expected, but i couldn’t be happier with the ending!
