Matt doesn't care about Skipper, but Skipper's girlfriend, whom Matt had a crush on in high school, has been badly burned. Meanwhile, 21-year-old Juan Paulo Delgado, "El Gato," is going about his usual business of pimping, beating and beheading undocumented Mexican women. Great read from a great writer. Griffin always keeps your longing for more and on the edge of your seat.
Mr Griffin is Slipping
Not a great read. Ordinarily I read each page fairly slowly, to get a feel for the story. The stories here are chopped, while MR Griffin tries to slowly interweave the players to the finale.
This story follows the standard trope, and I found myself wishing I hadn’t wasted the time spent reading it.
