The Triumph of the Water Lily

The Triumph of the Water Lily is an ode to Africa and her people. The journey that Effua a Ghanaian woman embarks on is of self discovery of herself and the continent, which she is proud to call her home. Like the Lily, the lead character looks to triumph over her circumstances. Tragedy, death and loss all face Effua, and it is for her to find the courage to overcome the challenges that she faces and wax victorious in the end!
