Easy read, good storyline
At first I wasn't really that into this book. I didn't like the use of cliches and there are a few cheesy lines. The story line isn't too unique, very typical Nicholas Sparks type novel. As I kept reading though the writing seemed to work better. The story also became a bit more developed. With it turning into a series it seems that the development will continue as well. I also think the author did a good job of handling the story's material, probably because of her relation to it. I'm excited for the next installment. Yeah, there were some corny parts and lines, but it didn't take away from the overall quality of the story. I'm happy I stuck with it.
A great read
I was truly touched in many ways by this story , It broke my heart but the courage it takes to make your own stand was there and I can't imagine how much guts it takes to do it on your own

I truly enjoyed this book. I was eager to keep turning the pages and excited to read each one
