I'm not supposed to leave the house. But what my husband doesn't know won't kill him. I break his rules every morning on my runs. It's always been best when I have a routine. So every day I wake up, run, clean the house, wish for a better life, repeat. And every day is exactly the same.

Except for Thursdays. I live and breathe for Thursdays. It's when he comes. I watch him from a distance. I can't help myself. But I was never supposed to talk to him.

I know what you're thinking. But you don't know my story. You don't know the kind of monster my husband is. And trust me, you have no idea who I am.

The Truth in my Lies

This is a psychological thriller that kept me guessing...always trying to figure out if there was truth in the craziness somewhere. I thought of closing the book and giving it up a few times because it seemed to drag on but I had to see how it ended. Don’t give up. You’ll be a bit surprised at the end.

Why isn’t this a movie??

I really hope you read this review. At first I wasn’t sure I was going to read this book because of the few people who don’t appreciate Psychological Thrillers who left lame reviews. But I have it the benefit of the doubt. I totally forgot what the summary was and just started reading a month after getting it. I was hooked from the first sentence. I finished it in one night. I didn’t go to bed until 2 AM. That never happens. The whole time I was a good kind of confused and trying to figure it all out. My husband was laughing at the facial and expressions I would make. All the characters came across as very well and well rounded. Even The little we get of Charlotte. I was very surprised at the ending and wish there would be a sequel. The one thing that bothered me is how Addy reacts when a big secret is revealed. She wasn’t even mad. Any girl would be a little more upset.
I really wish this book would be expanded and turned into a movie or TV Show. It was that freaking good. So good that I dreamed about it. Better than the movie ‘gone girl’, better than the movie ‘A Simple Favor’. Add in a few steamy scenes and this would sell like wildfire. I’m seriously confused on how this isn’t a movie. Your writing skills are phenomenal. The dialogue was catchy, funny. Addys Narrations were chilling. It’s not just entertainment to read, it is entertainment that made me think and feel and see the scenes so clearly. It’s drama, a love story without it being too over powering, a mystery.
I’m sorry this is so long! It’s just so rare I find such a gem. Good luck with the future, your story telling is such a gift💙 and thank you for writing this amazing story.

Ugh the ending

Loved the entire read. You’ll never believe the ending. This book flowed really nicely and I couldn’t put it down.
