Colonel Jessa “Peacock” Masters and her partner Nate “Jaguar” Masters have been given their next assignment by the Command-In-Chief herself. Their mission? To figure out why the rate of twins and multiple births has increased in the last fifty years. Evidence has come upon the President’s desk that suggests this is not a normal phenomenon. One Peacock’s contacts points her in the direction of the government, but whose government? One of Earth’s governments? Or that of one of the planet colonies? And what does all this have to do with the woman claiming to be Peacock’s long lost sister? Is it coincidence that she showed up now? Or is she participating in the agenda behind the Twin Effect phenomenon?
