Hope for more
I was very disappointed when I learned that Twenty Palaces would stop at 3 books, grateful that Harry wrote a prequel to clear up a lot I’m sure he had planned to deal with in later volumes. This novella is a delight, and I hope we will see more.
Good Whodunit
Fun romp through Europe.
A worthy Continuation
The Twisted Path is a worthy continuation of the phenomenal Twenty Palaces Series. The prose is simple and to the point, and yet carries a sense of pace and excitement that is rarely matched.
The world is excellently fleshed out and serves as one of the most intriguing of its kind (dark urban fantasy).
The characters are relatable and deep, not simply caricatures.
The only criticism is that the novella is just that, a novella, and not the next book. Hopefully Harry Connolly will continue the Twenty Palaces series and not leave us hungering for more.
