The Two Natures In the Child of God

The Bible sees the Christian as having an ‘old nature’, inherited through generation from Adam, and a ‘new nature’, bestowed through regeneration by God.

 

The names and characteristics of each are many and various, including “the natural man” and “the old man” over against “the divine nature” and “the new man”.
