PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Wyoming-based Navy SEAL Wolfgang "Wolf" Tate, the hero in Ashenden's passionate and powerful third Billionaire SEALs romance, was raised by his adoptive father to believe he was nothing more than a weapon. When he receives a letter after his father's death instructing him to kill his father's worst enemy, Cesare de Santis, Wolf makes it his mission as a final attempt to earn his father's imagined approval. Sheltered, intelligent Olivia de Santis falls in love with Wolf immediately when he enters her life, unaware of his hidden plan to destroy her father. When Wolf kidnaps her to save her, they find solace in each other. After he comes clean about his identity, Olivia is devastated, but her love for him makes it difficult to turn her back on the only person who's ever made her feel valued. Ashenden develops a tender romance built on the protagonists' shared strength: the determination to fight for what they want. There's less action in this modern-day Romeo and Juliet than in its predecessor, but the emotional journey packs an equivalent punch, and readers will cheer for Olivia and Wolf while raging over the lies and cruelty that have warped their lives.

Family Feud
Wolf Tate, a Navy Seal on bereavement leave, is after revenge. Raised to believe he was more of a "tool" than a "brain", he vows revenge on his father's killer. So desperate for love, acceptance, and a family he believes everything his father has ever told him. As a teen, his father used him to infiltrate the "enemy"--the de Santis family. Using his training and experience from the Navy, Wolf breaks into the de Santis home to kidnap Olivia de Santis. The only problem is, she's his only friend.
Olivia first met Wolf as a teen. She spent hours talking to him about literature, their families, everything. She was infatuated with him then, but is in love with him now. She's spent the last 10yrs isolated from others her age, but maintained contact with a Wolf via email. While she's surprised with his kidnapping, she's not scared because she trusts him.
Wolf has several decisions to make, none of them easy. Does he believe Olivia or his late father? Is he a well honed machine or an intelligent Navy Seal with the capacity to love? This is the third novel in the Tate Brothers series. Although it can be read as a stand alone novel, I recommend reading the series in order to get the full background on the Tate-de Santis feud. Suspenseful, funny, and heartbreaking. I loved the twists throughout the novel. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
