Bookish Hero Fenster and heir to a duke Arthur Watterly share a common passion: the Legend of King Arthur. When the pursuit of the original manuscript of Malory's Le Morte d'Artur leads them to be trapped overnight in a bookshop attic, they find themselves unexpectedly married. They might be happy. Hero Fenster is nothing like her name. Shy, bookish, living in the shadow of her flirtatious younger sister Juliet, Hero has only one secret. She is in love with Arthur Watterly, heir to a dukedom and an Arthurian scholar. Fortunately, the search for the original manuscript of Malory's Morte d'Arthur finds them both locked overnight in a bookshop attic and thoroughly compromised into marriage. In the quest to find the manuscript, and the mysterious note-sender who is threatening them, they also discover a once and forever love.
