A vampire prince
Lucien has a dark secret, and he will give up his soul to keep it from being discovered. When the mate he has waited centuries for finally reveals herself, he is torn. He’s tired of being alone, but claiming her threatens more than the unveiling of his secret. Thousands of lives are at stake.
A rebel fae
As a personal guard to her king, Elaina isn’t afraid of much except the vampires. They slaughtered many of her kind, and even though that was centuries ago, she’s struggling to trust. One dark prince sets her on edge. Her body is drawn to him, but her mind knows he is hiding something and she is determined to find out what.
The future beckons
The day has come when Lucien must face his past and choose his future. Elaina’s visions show two roads. One leads to destruction and the other to salvation. The choice the fated couple makes will determine the outcome for not only themselves, but for their entire race. The problem is, they have no idea which is the correct one.
I really enjoyed reading The Vampire Prince. I found the storyline interesting and well written. I thought the character development was really good. I found myself getting lost in the story and not wanting to put it down. I’m really looking forward to reading more by Valerie Twombly and would recommend. I received an advanced copy and this is my voluntary honest review. A really great read!!
I really enjoyed this book. It was easy to get sucked in to the world and keep reading until I finished. I didn’t realize when I began reading that this book is the second in a series. It wasn’t necessary to read the first book in order to follow this one but I went back afterwards and really enjoyed the first book as well. Really good supernatural romance.
