The Vengeance Trail

After tragedy strikes Levi Clayton's family, the youthful coal miner emigrates to New York chasing the dream of building a new life based upon secondhand tales and newspaper reports. When he arrives, Levi quickly discovers that his new home is nothing like what he expected it to be and his gullibility is soon taken advantage of. Injured and without funds, he finds sympathy from a failed doctor, and together, the two embark on a perilous journey west.

He falls in with a vagabond band of misfit union soldiers and they find themselves under attack by a Confederate force.
