The Vienna Connection
Really interesting read. The protagonist’s history of undercover ops as a member of an elite military unit trained to read people’s mental & physical tells is fascinating. His assignment - to find something, somewhere in Vienna ASAP - leads the reader on a detailed tour of the city’s restaurants, wineries and bars (take notes)! Strong characters, political chicanery and a little romance. Highly recommend!
Fantastic!
I loved this story. Very interesting & entertaining. I especially enjoyed the descriptions of Vienna, restaurants, & wine. The author manages to make you wish you were there alongside the protagonist & experiencing the city with him.
Awesome!
I was hooked from the first wine pairing. I was pleasantly surprised when some of my favorite Italian wines were mentioned, one of which is currently in my wine cabinet! Wines aside, this book drew me in. The characters were believable, as was the story line. I look forward to reading this author again.
