Enjoyed
Was reading another book by a well known author recently released. Ditched it and started reading The Wager. It was so interesting and I enjoyed it. Now I’m excited to read Mel’s story.
Cute Story
The idea of The Wager is like the movie She's All That but slightly different. The POV change is great so you read as Lily as well as Roman. I think the author could have held off on Lily's past through her friend Mel instead of earlier, for more impact. But liked it thoroughly. Could see myself reading it again in the future along with the sequels
