Publisher Description

A new younger generation was beginning to question the myths of Earth and its many wonders. If Earth had space faring ships why didn’t they visit this corner of the universe. Some even asked how they got here, if the myths said they came from Earth, and if they came from Earth then why didn’t they have all the wonderful tech of the 27th century of Earth when the myths said the colony came from that era. The most burning question was, why where they forbidden to go beyond the borders that enclosed there land. What was beyond that border? Some said there was a 175-foot wall that marked that border. And a 30 plus miles thick band of bad lands, sparse, desert like. And how do you get past that wall that no one could even remember seeing. Was there a way through the bad lands to the wall, and who built the wall? No one alive today or in the last two generations has ever seen a wall or spoken of a wall. No textbooks in school ever spoke of a wall. No textbook in school ever spoke of Earth except as a fairytale. If you heard anything about Earth or this being a colony world it was in fireside stories passed on from generations to generation or written in personal diaries. Diaries that were forbidden to have in your possession. The government could not ban oral history, only if a person spoke of such things publicly and challenged the official history of the world they lived on. They would suddenly disappear and never seen again. Anyone who would be heard talking about the mysteries wall in the north beyond the badlands, would also disappear. It had been many decades since the last disappearance. These was the many questions that where asked by the younger generation today after a thousand years being on a planet they were told was there home world, while the whispers among the elders would say it was a colony world. One bright lad decided he wanted to find out the answers, and he recruited some other bright lads to help him find those answers.
