Customer Reviews
Loved this book!
It is the sweet and authentically written story of a young Amish lady, Hannah , as well as her family and friends. Hannah is in love with a young man, but her mother holds a grudge because he accidentally hurt several family members when he hit their buggy including Hsnnah herself who is having to do life in a cast. The characters were well-crafted by Ruth Hartzler. I cared so much that I felt like Hannah was a friend, and I found myself feeling anger and joy respectively, for her! I appreciate the inclusion of a rescue dog in the story. And I especially like how she shows that even Amish girls and women do not have to submit to unwanted advances! I look forward to reading more books by Hartzler.
Easy to read.
I always enjoy books about the Amish. This was no exception. I enjoy getting to know the characters and noting that they also have faults as the Englishers have.
Love it
Love love love this book! I love books in this genre anyway, but oh it was good. And a very needed reminder about forgiveness!
