Framby66 ,

Very enjoyable memoir.

I stumbled across this memoir while looking for stories about Babe Ruth at the Allendale Bar & Grill, a pub in Mr. Brown's (and my) home town. The sample text on iTunes described his apartment in Allendale that intrigued me enough that I wanted read more. It is a quick but enjoyable read, though I'm sure it meant more to me than it would t some, having lived my youth on some of the same streets and in the same buildings, albeit about 35 years later. I used to hear stories of my Father's visits to his Aunt's house in Allendale that would have been around the time as the memoir takes place, furthering my interest.
