Afearia’s quest to bring down the government has proven to be a more daunting task than she had hoped. For each life she saves, thousands more are doomed. No victory in the king’s kingdom goes without its destructive consequence.

The Elites paint her as Terra’s coming disaster. Those in favor of Derexen’s leadership seek to have her apprehended and executed. But Afearia’s actions have not gone unnoticed. Derexen seems to think little of her efforts while carefully having her monitored. Others conspire to use her as an instrument to advance their hidden agendas.
