Publisher Description
Wedding dress designer Daisy Willows always imagined marrying the man of her dreams. The fantasy did not include a fake engagement or a fake wedding. Or that her ex, Cole Benton, would be the groom. But as her mom's medical bills pile up, Daisy can't refuse the help of a well-known bridal show expo owner...or his plan for the fake wedding of the century.
Cole Benton's bridal magazine is on the verge of capsizing, taking Cole's dream of an outdoor lifestyle magazine with it. So Cole agrees to the publicity stunt and becomes "engaged" to Daisy. But despite their searing-hot chemistry—both in public and in private—not everyone is buying the charade. And now the only way to save their skins and prove that their big white wedding isn't a big white lie is to say "I do..."
Each book in the Hoax Series is a standalone, full-length story that can be enjoyed out of order.

Wedding Hoax
Daisy is a wedding dress designer who runs a successful business but could use some help boosting her name and income. Cole has been running the bridal magazine for his father's company and he needs it to be as successful as possible so he can move to the outdoor lifestyle magazine. To achieve their goals, they agree to a publicity stunt and get engaged and have the public help them plan their wedding. The problem: Daisy and Cole broke up because they don't want the same things. So now they have to navigate this fake relationship and not fall into old patterns.
This book was funny and wasn't really heavy on the angst. It was a cute, quick read. I really liked Daisy and Cole and all of the secondary characters introduced. I'm definitely adding the next book in this series to my TBR.

The Wedding Hoax
Just OK. Far fetched, not likely to happen, more of a fairytale than a love story.
Fake out
Daisy & Cole have a history. They did not part well. So when the chance comes to both of them to save their respective business, they want to jump on it. Until they find out it means being together.
Cole has pressure coming at him from all sides. The personal and professional are all blending for the first time. Daisy makes it all seem so much better. Can they learn to keep the future bright while the darkness closes in?
Such a great start to the fun and sexy Hoax Series! I really love these characters and how real they come across. Their situation is not uncommon. I felt they were very easy to understand and relate to. While the story moves along, there is much heat and laughter also.
