inconsistent with book, doesnt use whole foods ingredients
I saw the 'what would Jesus Eat' book and author featured on Dr. Oz and downloaded the book and this companion cookbook thinking it would be a great source for whole foods recipes. I am so disappointed. First of all, while the book emphasizes the importance of eating only whole grains and non processed items, the cookbook uses french bread, italian bread, fat free cream cheese, etc. I really have a hard time picturing Jesus and the disciples opening a tub of fat free cream cheese to slather onto their french baguettes at the last supper. So many of the recipes in this book use ingredients that are so heavily processed I would never even eat them myself, I feel like I may as well have just shaken my wallet out the car window as I drove down the freeway.
