The Wilhelm Legacy

The Wilhelm Legacy is the true story of the worst
ship disaster in history.

Eighty years ago, over 8000 people perished in
the sinking of the ‘Wilhelm Gustloff’, making
it the worst passenger ship disaster in history,
….….. and yet, very few people know about it.

Now, for the first time, a 88 year-old woman
describes that last night of the ships’ life as she
sailed onboard. She was eight years old, and is
one of the 1,252 official survivors of this famous
sinking. Her father was a sub commander in the
German Navy.

This is a true story as only a child can describe it
and only as an eye witness to history can tell it.

Read the amazing story of how the race for the
fastest ship in the world, led to the world’s greatest
passenger ship disaster. How it happened, where it
happened, and why you, as an American citizen,
have probably never heard of it

It was January 30th, 1945 when the ship sank,
and the cause was widely known, but barely
publicized. In Chapter 12, we explain why.
