The Willow Fairies

The Willow Tree is a magical kingdom, tended to by the enchanting Willow Fairies, who make sure that their beloved home is never neglected or in danger. They are brave and cunning in battle, using willow twigs that magically explode when the fairies throw them at their target, and they dart about too quickly for their enemies to even see them. The Willow Fairies are led by the beautiful Princess Arianthe, who has kept the Willow Tree and all of her fairies safe for many years. She leads them bravely in their battles with the Dragonfly Riders, the one opponent who truly poses a threat to the fairies, because the Riders' goal is to take the fairies captive and fly them away from their home, the lovely Willow Tree. Princess Arianthe has been able to outwit the Dragonfly Riders and keep her fairies safe, but that was before the leader of the Dragonfly Riders, the silvery and fierce Antenor, set his sights on the Princess herself. Antenor is a mighty warrior, alert and observant, and unwavering in his goals. When Antenor plans a strategic battle that edges the fairies to unavoidable defeat, he offers them one chance at victory. He will call off all of his Riders and leave the fairies alone, but in return he asks a price that is almost too high for Arianthe to pay. She must decide what to do, let her fairies be vanquished by the relentless Dragonfly Riders, or lose something that is more dear to her than life itself…
