The Wine Connoisseur

I had thought about putting an introduction into this book but on reflection it seemed to me that this whole book was more or less in and of itself an introduction of sorts.

 Besides there simply wasn't anyway that I could confine to a few hundred words all I needed to say in an introduction, hence we've skipped any kind of introduction and gone on straight into the meat of the book.

 Before I go any further though I'd just like to stop and mention that you might come across a few words that won't necessarily make sense to you.

 Don't despair though, help is at hand – I always wanted to say that! I've included a glossary of wine terms of sorts at the end of the book and hope that it will be of help to you.

 But it turns out that I have in my own inimitable fashion managed to pen down a few words that resemble an introduction despite everything I said or thought to the contrary!

 Well, never mind and onwards to the next section is all I can think of to say at the moment.
