The Winter War

I LOVE this series so much!!

This book made me cry at the end with Mr JR (btw it’s rly hard for a book to make me cry) and I was so sad, especially because the series was ending. I can recall many times when I would sit on the couch and just wish I could be in Ahoratos adventuring with the warriors, pretending to be with them when they were receiving their swords (ironic that my name is Levi), flying on Tannyn, and imagining being in each of their positions wondering if I would have gone on the same path. I even remember one time that I was in church flipping through my bible and I stopped right at psalm 119 and saw the Aleph, I immediately went to the bathroom with my bible just in case I was whisked to the world of Ahoratos. This series has given me many laughs, tears, conflicting emotions, and best of all, a want to read my bible more. It is by far my favorite book series I have read and I would highly recommend it to anyone above the age of 7 for two reasons, 1, it would probably be hard to read for anyone younger, and 2, it can be a little intense for younger kids. But especially the first book would work great for a beginner’s chapter book or bedtime story.
