This series has a vast array of lore to offer that many books of this genre fail to capture. Driven by motivations other than romance, this series instead is given locomotion by one of mankind’s oldest motives, revenge and honor. Brian has truly carved out a masterpiece in a genre that has much to offer. His research of the Cheyenne people and culture is well reflected throughout the book and offers a deeper insight as to the true nature of the beast and its place in our mythology.
