Success. Influence. Accolades. Winning.
Legendary Football Coach Bobby Bowden has it all.
As the all-time winningest coach in Division I football history, Coach Bowden has statues erected in his honor and national charities and awards named after him.  Four generations of fans have heard his message and witnessed his results. He built a successful career, climbed to the top of his field, and has a loving family. It's what we all want.
And yet, Coach Bowden, who, as he puts it, is in the "fourth quarter" of his life, has a message for us all. The success . . . the influence . . . the accolades . . . the wins. . . none of it matters if our lives are not rooted in faith. God trumps our best hand.  He always wins.  Which is how it should be.  That is the wisdom he wants to share.  Let him tell you why faith and happiness are inseparable.
No matter your life circumstance, The Wisdom of Faith shows you what really matters—from the perspective of a man who has made the journey.  He looks back over eighty years.  And he invites us to look forward with him into the future.

The Wisdom of Faith

The honesty that comes from Bobby, in this book, was compelling. I felt that there were great links right to the Bible. God's word is the only blueprint we need, but I had not thought of Love, in terms of team building, especially in thinking of football. I had always thought of the "team" having a common goal of winning as joining that community. However, I can now see that there still if the overarching relational element that really boils down to Love. Great book, great read, great man.

Great book by a great man!

I have only read the first 4 chapters of this book, but it is excellent thus far. I have always admired coach Bowden, he is the reason I became an FSU fan. The way he has taken God and applied him in his life is what we all should do. Like I said great read thus far!
