Then Prince-Warden Gevulin arrives in town unannounced. Elliott builds an impressively complex world, combining a feudal social structure with a bio-magical threat and a history so ancient that much of it is unknown. Perfectly executed
Fully realized characters, in a world that unfolds like a well written mystery, faced with a challenge that expands with meaning and complexity as it goes on. And also great fun. Excellent.
