New York Times bestselling author Tarryn Fisher delivers a pulse-pounding, fast-paced suspense novel that will leave you breathless. A thriller you won’t be able to put down!
Imagine that your husband has two other wives.
You’ve never met the other wives. None of you know each other, and because of this unconventional arrangement, you can see your husband only one day a week. But you love him so much you don’t care. Or at least that’s what you’ve told yourself.
But one day, while you’re doing laundry, you find a scrap of paper in his pocket—an appointment reminder for a woman named Hannah, and you just know it’s another of the wives.
You thought you were fine with your arrangement, but you can’t help yourself: you track her down, and, under false pretenses, you strike up a friendship. Hannah has no idea who you really are. Then Hannah starts showing up to your coffee dates with telltale bruises, and you realize she’s being abused by her husband. Who, of course, is also your husband. But you’ve never known him to be violent, ever.
Who exactly is your husband, and how far would you be willing to go to find out?
And who is his mysterious third wife?

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
What if you could have the man of your dreams—as long as you were willing to share him with two strangers? That arrangement is worth it for Thursday, whose husband, Seth, happens to be a charming polygamist. But when Thursday accidentally discovers the name of one of the other women, she starts asking questions that pull her into a gripping journey packed with crafty deceptions, suppressed desires, and fake identities. Thursday’s voice is so raw and enticing that we share her desperate obsession to separate fact from fiction. Best-selling author Tarryn Fisher’s fast-paced psychological thriller is unsettling and irresistible.
Thursday, the unreliable narrator of this engrossing psychological thriller set in the Pacific Northwest from Fisher (Folsom), tries to be the perfect wife for Seth, her perfect husband. The only problem is her awareness and seeming acceptance of sharing Seth with two other wives who live in another city. Her carefully constructed world begins to unravel when Thursday finds out by chance the name of one wife, Hannah, who's pregnant with Seth's child. With an internet search just a few keystrokes away, Thursday gives in to the impulse to find out about Hannah and the other wife. Her discoveries open up the disturbing possibility that Seth is hiding a dangerous secret that could affect the life of his unborn child. She resolves to meet the other wives and to save Hannah. In doing so, she forms some surprising alliances. Fisher smoothly inserts moments of self-doubt, longing, paranoia, and triumph into her unsettling narrative as she draws the reader into Thursday's conflicted and increasingly complicated life. Suspense fans will be rewarded.
It was really good and easy read. I just wish that Thursday’s character would be explained more at the end
This book was definitely a page turner it has a lot of twists! Though I caught myself skimming through some of the story that was leading up to the suspenseful parts because I couldn’t take it! Good read!
This book is just ‘gaslighting: the novel’. The twists and turns were awfully executed. The plot made zero sense. The characters were unbearable. The use of mental illness as a plot device infuriated me. How this even got published is beyond me.
It’s just one big messy fever dream. I’ve read better fanfiction.
