Callie Hunter, best friend to alpha half-wolf Cadence, has had enough of the pack life. Setting her sights on anyplace without wolves, she heads north only to be sidetracked by a devastating car crash that brings her face to face with twin mountain lions. Ethan and Eryx, small town sheriff's deputies, knew the moment they touched Callie that she was the mate they'd always wanted. But mountain lion females don't take kindly to sharing their males with anyone else and will do anything in their power to discourage Callie from sticking around. Will Ethan and Eryx's desire for Callie cost them everything, or will Callie find her inner wolf and the home she's always dreamed of? This novel contains menage-a-trois, hunky cops, handcuffs, an on-the-run she-wolf, sex in every room in the house, and inappropriate use of the phrase "assault with a deadly weapon".
Best one yet in the series
I loved the new characters and how they showed the differences in how wolf packs and lion prides work, it was to bad that Callie's and Candace friendship had to change, but from the other 2books I could see it happening. It would be nice to see a spin off series from this book all the characters are fun and enjoyable.I would say to me this is the best one so far out of the series. But if you do not have a open mind to how characters can evolve in a series or new characters point of view you might not enjoy it. But for me it's 5 stars all the way.
It's okay. Sorry to see the friendship of Cade's & Callie slough off but it's true when distance becomes an issue; we have a tendency to move away from our old lives and embrace our new one.
Glad she found happiness, she deserves it more than any wolf or kitty. 😃
Best book in series
Okay, I thought Linus and the angel was wonderful....but this book took me over the top. I loved the way Callie evolved since reading the last book. The twins sounded so loyal and unconditional. Oh, and her beast making them drop to their knees when she was angry! Pure genius! I give this book 10 stars!
