The Wonders of Bible Chronology

The Wonders of Bible Chronology is a study of the Biblical timeline by Philip Mauro, an author of Christian texts who acquired great fame in the early to mid 20th century. 


In this detailed study, Mauro discusses a series of important Biblical events whose chronology is not immediately clear to the student of the Bible. Throughout this book, he accompanies his narration with a series of tables which cite the respective events, the corresponding Biblical passage, and the year. These sequential timelines clarify the sequence of events, allowing the reader to better understand the books. 


Particular focus is given to the books of the Bible which feature numerical and historical allusions. These include Genesis, Numbers, Judges and Daniel. Through much of his long life, Philip Mauro worked where his gift for words could be put to good use. A successful lawyer who labored alongside the United States Supreme Court, it was only during his mid-forties that Philip Mauro experienced a revelation from the Lord and duly began to write books with the aim of enlightening his fellow Christians. This was a duty he accomplished with great reverence for the divine, until his death at the age of 1952.
