An excellent non-human fantasy
Do you enjoy explorations of non-human cultures? Then this is a great book for you. The Jokka, despite being bipedal, are distinctly non-human and fascinating because of it.
Do you enjoy falling in love with characters and then watching their world fall apart around them? Then this is also a great book for you. Thenet and Dlane live in a harsh world, and even though you’re cheering for them the entire way through, it’s always a struggle towards happiness.
This book is amazing. This book is brutal. And if you like this book, you should read the sequels. Now.
