I'm an all-or-nothing man—100 percent focused on whatever has my attention.
First it was serving my country in the Special Forces. Then it was building my business. Right now it's the hot blonde at the bar who's about to become another notch on my bedpost.
But women never keep my attention for more than a night.
Until I peel off Skylar Anderson's clothes and her mask starts to crumble, showing me glimpses of the girl she's hiding. She's funny, sexy and vulnerable and throws me out of bed before I can catch my breath and suggest breakfast.
When I start my last undercover job on a yacht, turns out, she's one of the crew. I try, but I can't look away.
Her high ponytail shows off her kissable neck that tastes like summer.
Her short uniform reveals the killer legs that were wrapped around me last night.
And her provocative smile? I know what that mouth is capable of.
I want to explore her body, discover her secrets and sail off into the sunset with her.
I might want to go all in for Skylar, but she should stay away from me. I've got secrets of my own and they can only bring her trouble.
A stand-alone novel.

Louise Bay, you did it again. Landon turned out to be the right gentleman. I loved Landon and Skylar. Miss Bay has never failed to capture the audience. 1 of my favorite authors. Love ❤️, ❤️ your 📚. Keep them coming.
Review: The Wrong Gentleman
The Wrong Gentleman by Louise Bay is a standalone contemporary romance set in the same world as The Ruthless Gentleman and taking place the season after the events in that story. So while this shares a world and some characters it CAN be read as a standalone.
Landon Wolf is ex-military, just sold his own security business, and is ready for a break. What he doesn't anticipate is an old friend in desperate need of his skills and a season on a super yacht as a deck hand. Another thing he doesn't anticipate is the sexy blond he spent the night with right before he starts on the yacht also working on that same yacht as chief steward.
Skylar has her rules and has them for good reason. Nothing she has ever experienced in life has made her question her rules or doubt them. That is, until one night with Landon James starts chipping away at her painfully constructed walls. Could he possibly be as wonderful as he seems or is this growing attraction between them too good to be true?
A beautiful romantic tale of two people doing all they can to avoid romantic entanglements finding themselves more and more twisted up in each other. Add in a super yacht, a summer party in Paris and a hot British ex-military and it checked many of my favorites. Love this author and loved this book. Enjoy!
I couldn’t even finish it
I usually love Louise Bay books but I couldn’t get into this one. The emotions seemed really contrived and shallow. The characters were supposed to just “get each other” from the very beginning, but the feelings were built so quickly and unexplainably. Skylar was supposed to be so guarded where she couldn’t even tell her very best friend the truth about her parents and why she went into foster care, but she could tell Landon her deepest darkest secret like it was nothing. Why? He didn’t tell her anything.
I guess I just didn’t get it and I couldn’t bring myself to read it until the end.
