The Young Trailers

This is the first book in the Young Trailers series. Henry Ware and his family move to Kentucky. Henry discovers his innate ability as a forester. Both Shif'less Sol and Tom Ross are excellent foresters, but Henry learns all they have to teach him. Henry and his friend, Paul Cotter, have adventures throughout Kentucky. Henry saves the new town of Wareville from Indian attack.
