Their Mariposa Legend; a romance of Santa Catalina

Publisher Description

A sweet little romance, though nowhere near the quality of Jane Eyre or Wuthering Heights. Not PC with respect to Native Americans. The first half is a tragic romance between the `noble savage' Princess Wildenai (actually a Spanish princess, adopted as a baby by the chief's wife) and Harold of Wessex, who abandoned her to return to England, not believing she was fit to be the wife of a nobleman. The second half is the tentative romance, centuries later, between Wildenai's great+ grandson and Harold's great+ granddaughter.
