Then I Thought of Home: An Invitation to Dinner

Dear readers and friends, with this cookbook I would like to share with you something that I consider to be a very special and significant part of my life and the life of my family. I would like to share with you special recipes served over many years, that have brought people together around a dinner table throughout  generations. Some of these recipes were passed down from women of days gone by, some were taught to me by my mother as a girl growing up  at home, and still others came together in my own kitchen. Many of these recipes came to be, perhaps, by accident, but quickly earned their rightful spot as family favorites. Within these pages, I hope you find not only recipes, but meals that, when shared around a table with loved ones, create memories and a feeling of family that will last a lifetime.
