Dive into the sizzling high rises of Manhattan with "There's Something About Her: A Steamy Manhattan Love Story," the second unputdownable installment in the LOVE in the USA series. This contemporary billionaire romance whisks you from the sexy enclaves of Martha's Vineyard to the heart-pounding hustle of New York City.
Maggie Conroy is your average city girl. She has a solid group of good girlfriends and a crappy job that comes complete with the boss from hell, aka Cruella La Bitch.
But Maggie's life takes a fortunate turn when her billionaire cousin, Jack Lord, pulls strings to secure her the job of her dreams. But there's one huge problem. She knows her new boss from high school, and he wasn't very nice to her back then, actually, he was a bully. Yet, she would rather take her chances with Vincent Adams than keep working for someone who's arguably the worst human being on earth.
Vince Adams never expected to see Maggie Conroy ever again. But here she is in the flesh. In high school, she had a thing for his best friend, and Vince had a thing for her. But maybe this time around, he will be the one to win Maggie's heart. It won't be easy because his best friend, her crush, Robert Tango, is also his business partner.
So what happens when the boy you hated in high school becomes your hot new boss? Maggie Conroy is about to find out.
"There's Something About Her: A Steamy Manhattan Love Story" is the second electrifying book in Z.L. Arkadie's LOVE in the USA series. Filled with steamy scenes, heartfelt romance, and unexpected twists, this billionaire boss romance is a standalone tale that's sure to leave you breathless. Other woman...
Once the main character became the other woman I was done with this story. There's no excuse for that, even if the guy is being forced to marry someone he doesn't love.
