Fast paced fun!
Thieves Gambit by Kavion Lewis is a wile, thrilling, fast-paced ride for fans of Six of Crows, Inheritance Games, and Oceans Eleven. This comparison titles probably give you a good sense of what you’re walking into when you start this book and Kavion Lewis does not disappoint!
Seventeen-year-old Rosalyn Quest is part of a notorious thieving family but really just longs for a normal teenage life. But her dreams are out on hold when her mother is kidnapped. In order to save her mother, Rosalyn must enter an underground thieving competition and win the grand prize. This is where the fun and chaos truly begins! It’s such a fast and almost head-spinning ride as you meet the other competitions who are willing to do absolutely anything to win—just like Rosalyn. The result is a whole lot of twists, turns, and of course, betrayals that keep raising the tension and sakes all the way to the end! This book was set up to the first in a series and the ending definitely had me eager to read the second installment!
