What if there was money? Lots of it. Stolen cash, loot, you get the ideabut lost by the thieves who stole it in the first place, the real thieves, the ones with the firearms.

It sure makes Steve Hornby wonder. A once-was librarian now trying to make ends meet as a security guard, hes the misfit on the security crew and hes the guy on the spot when it all happens. Nerd, cynic, and despondent coward, hes not the man for this Thief capper.
Or is he? After a lifetime of consummate failure, Steves perfected the fine art of the sincere untruth, the insincere apology, and the dodgy silence. Then again, committing a crime is one thing getting away with it is much more dangerous.
