This book named Da Bird as a great cat toy. I bought it and lo! it’s my cat’s favorite toy.
ESSENTIAL for any cat owner
I grew up around cats, but in preparation to get a couple kittens in the next few months, I wanted a more definitive source on how to best raise them and give them a happy life.
Even after living with cats for 18+ years, this book taught me SO much about how to raise, care for, train, and enjoy cats. My partner already knew a lot of the information in this book, but for me, it was startling informative; so, your mileage may vary.
What’s undeniably true is that it is a great reference resource. Searching in Apple Books is pretty painless and the book is organized very well which makes trying to find specific topics or information is super convenient.
The writing is excellent for an informative book. It does a nice job intermixing personal anecdotes with science-based research and professional experience. I read it from front-to-back, but skimmed over some less relevant sections.
If you’re going to be getting cats, are struggling with your current cat’s behavior, or just want to learn how to enrich your relationship with your cat, I highly recommend you give this book a read. I can almost guarantee you’ll learn something!
Totally prepared for a new kitten
This is a thorough, must-have for any potential cat-buyer. We purchased a Ragdoll kitten after reading this and his transition to our home was seamless. I knew what products to buy, I had a game plan for dealing with what I perceived to be difficult behavior from my cat, and I knew what to ask the vet. Totally impressed. Great information.
