In this installment, we have a haunted house, a happy-go-lucky ghost and a young man who just wants to start over. Kade was at a crossroads in his life and he definitely wasn’t thinking straight when he bought a run down house that had a history of being haunted. He knew he was in over his head with the impending home repairs but living anywhere was better than staying in a town where he wasn’t wanted. He never expected to meet a feisty ghost who turned out to be an angel in disguise. Bailey kept him on his toes, was brutally honest and got terribly jealous when their neighbor Charly came to call.
When strange things began happening in the house, Kade turned to Bailey for her help with understanding paranormal activity. He couldn’t believe he was living with a ghost but he had a connection to her from the moment they met. She stood up for him, protected him and always made him laugh. When even Bailey needed help with their predicament, she surprised Kade with a visit from Mona and Mason, who are characters from Ms. Siegrist’s short story collection, ‘“The Paranormal Chronicles.” They arrived just in time to help Kade and Bailey flush out the demons lurking in the walls of the haunted house. Spells were cast, stories were told and by the end of the book, the house was finally happy and Kade learned the truth about who was trying to harm him.
