A spin-off from the best-selling series Something So comes a whole brand of crazy & wild love stories.
All my life, I've said I will never date a hockey player. I know better because I've seen and lived it all. My father is a hockey god, my brother is the captain of the most successful NHL team in the world, and my brother-in-law also plays in the league. Their lives are complicated, so I went in the opposite direction.
I fell in love with a scholar. But instead of proposing marriage, he broke up with me.
Three months later, I saw his engagement picture on Instagram. I couldn't let him get away with that. No, it didn't matter what, I was going to make that man see that I did not need him.
I was in the running to pass my point record from last year, ready to claim the number one spot in the league. On top of my game, I was riding my career high wave.
Then, Hockey's Princess, Zara Stone tweeted me. She wanted me to crash her ex's wedding.
The worst that could happen? A PR nightmare. The best? A fun night with a beautiful woman.
It started out as a game—something I'm good at. Her crazy idea twisted into something I wasn't looking for, something neither of us wanted.
When push comes to shove, one thing

This story! The way that Zara and Evan's feelings are described when they meet, and as they build their intense, you can almost feel the butterflies..and eventually the intense burn that happens between these two characters. This is the first of the next series, and previous characters and family loyalty are woven into this tale to make it even more enjoyable. The way that Zara and Evan meet is unconventional, and their romance goes warp speed. Evan is absolutely the best book boyfriend. End of.
Zara is strong and successful, and she compliments Evan's alpha ways.
The roadblocks in their relationship lead to a couple that has great communication....and I LOVE that.
Great read and start to the series!
I have loved the story lines in all of this author’s books but the editing is horrible. The price of the books should be half of what they are because of the errors. I would read and purchase more if they were edited properly or a lower price.
Zara Stone gets her very own alpha hockey hottie
We finally get to really know Zara stone, one half of the crazy duo we have heard so much about. Zara is all grown up and out to show her ex something or two. In an anger fueled text to the Star of the Dallas Hockey team Evan Richards she asks him to help her crash her ex’s wedding. To her dismay he responds and when they meet sparks fly. This is the 1st book in the spinoff of the Something So series and I’m very excited to read the rest of them.
