My life had a plan. Until he invaded it and stole it all away. My captor took me and I became a pawn.
His strategy changed and he sent me away to WAR, because money is everything in this world.
In my WAR, though, I found peace.
I couldn’t help but find love where I least expected it, with a man who lived a battle every day of his life
…all inside his head.
But then my captor came back for me.
Yet, this time, battle lines had been drawn and I was protected.
So we thought.
Even though my WAR was raging,
my captor would fight to the death.
The good guys always win, right?
All’s fair in love and WAR, right?
Not this time.
This is War, Baby is a dark romance. A really dark one. So dark you’re going to wish you had a flashlight to see yourself to the end and someone to hold your hand. Strong sexual themes that could trigger emotional distress are found in this story. This story is NOT for everyone.

Wow! Absolutely wow! What a phenomenal read! My heart is still pounding in my chest. This was an absolutely fantastic book. Jaw dropping and heart breaking moments that steal the show with this book. I absolutely devoured it.
This book! Wow! It's sick, it's twisted and I need to know what happens next! This first part of the book when Baylee is kidnapped is horrendous...every girls nightmare. I wasn't sure I would be able to finish the story because it was just so hard to read. But then when she gets sold things could have gotten so much worse but she actually gets saved by the man who buys her. It's still no fairytale love story. There is so much that is disturbing but I admit, I'm hooked and I need to finish this series, it's not going to be easy waiting for the next book. I'm just glad the wait isn't too long and I'm so hopeful this will end on a high note. If it doesn't, I won't be glad I read this series. I guess that's the chance you take with a story that's labeled dark. Take the warnings of this book seriously.

Dark to Crazy
So we start out dark and it seemed rushed. The time from snatch to sale was two weeks and in that two weeks Gabe is planning to train Baylee to be a slave. The timeline of events doesn't match up. There is abuse but no mention of bruising or markings. Then we move to the crazy part and things slow down and the story takes its time and the relationship develops. So for the first part because the events and story was choppy 2.5 and for the second part this is War 3.5.
