This Midnight Hour

Poetry is perhaps the singular art form that passes between all the others: words are painted; outlines are drawn; stories are conveyed with more emotion than imaginable.  But that is all poetry really is.  Imagination.  Time and boundaries are nonexistent.  There are only carefully crafted phrases to mark the pain, love, joy, and suffering of every inch of our world.  Where the mind wanders, so does the heart.  Where poetry is written, so life is also reflected.
