After finishing law school Sophie thinks the rest of her life will be her version of a happily-ever-after. She's going to get get married and open a law firm with her the man she loves, but that changes when her long time boyfriend, Jacob Anderson, gets caught in a compromising situation with an undergrad student. Not knowing where else to turn Sophie moves back home to her family, the small town she left behind, and the Christmas season she's just not ready for.
